SWATCH-FIVB St.Petersburg Open 2005 is held in one of the most famous and beautiful places in St. Petersburg, on the beaches of Peter and Paul's Fortress. That's why both sports and beach fans will not be disappointed coming to our tournament this week.

During all the preceding days, the organizers equipped the beach to host the most demanding audience. They covered the beach with special sand and erected tribunes (first tribunes in Peter and Paul's Fortress history!), including the big one of 4,000 seats. Sports fans can also enjoy a special rest zone comprising 8 summer cafes and numerous children's entertainment grounds. Along with watching a breath-taking and unforgettable spectacle, the guests can participate in shot-tennis and mini-golf matches and many other entertaining events.

For those willing to sunbathe on the Neva banks, the organizers installed special deck-chairs. All matches are constantly accompanied with music that goes down only at most strained moments. Numerous Brazilian fans who regularly accompany their favourites all over the world are sure to bring a sparkle of Latin American carnival to the competitions.
