SWATCH-FIVB St.Petersburg Open-2005: All gold to Brazil.

Today's World Series morning St.Petersburg Open-2005 taking place on the shores of the Peter-and-Paul's Fortress started at 10 a.m. with the VIP tournament between picket teams from Moscow (headed by Nikolay Patrushev, Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the President of the Russian Volleyball Federation) and St. Petersburg (headed by the Governour of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko). Along with Mr Patrushev, the Moscow team consisted of the General Director of the Russian Volleyball Federation, Yuri Sapega, one of the best Russian players Dmitri Barsouk. St. Petersburg team was represented by a Legislative Assembly deputy, Victor Evtukhov, a famous indoor volleyball player Oleg Shatunov, current beach volley player Denis Tarakanov, Vice-President of the Russian Volleyball Federation, head of the National Beach Volleyball Council, Gennady Shipulin and the head of the federal Sport Channel, Vassily Kiknadze. The number of players is not wondering: both VIP-teams had a privilege to have 4 rather than 2 players. Details
