Aurajo and Magalhães - second finalists of St. Petersburg Open-2005.

The second men's semifinal was played by the Brazilian duets Aurajo/Magalhães and Benjamin/Harley.

Like in the previous semifinal, the players demonstrated various combinations and versatile playing technique. In fact, unlike most selection tours, here sportsmen prefer multi-start shootings to strength fight. Maybe, it is exactly what Russian teams lacked to qualify for the final.

The fight between two Brazilian strongest teams turned uncompromising. Suffice it to say that the match lasted for 68 minutes, a minute less than the record of this tournament. It took three sets for the rivals to determine who was the best. In the end the famous pair Aurajo/ Magalhães placed second in the world rank appeared stronger and posted the match 19-21, 21-18 and 16-14.

All in all, the final match for the gold medal and US$ 32 thousand will be played by the Brazilian tandems Emanuel/Ricardo and Aurajo/ Magalhães.
